OPUS 5.5 BUILT A FULL 3D GAME IN UNITY 6 WHILE EVERYONE ARGUES ABOUT CHATGPT AND GEMINI
A fishing game with a beach, a pier, a day/night cycle and real fishing controls. Made on a regular PC with Anthropic’s Opus 5.5 inside Claude Code.
The trick is never typing “make me a fishing game” in one prompt. Opus 5.5 works best in layers:
→ Step 1: Create a Unity 6 project with the URP template and connect Unity’s plugin to Claude Code
→ Step 2: Let Opus 5.5 build the level from simple shapes and a camera, no art yet
→ Step 3: Add the main mechanic in one prompt and play it until it feels right
→ Step 4: Generate models in Tripo, let Opus 5.5 clean them up in Blender and import them as FBX
→ Step 5: Add lighting, water, effects and sound last
→ Step 6: Let Opus 5.5 playtest on autopilot and list every bug before fixing any of them
Who does what:
→ Unity 6: the world, physics and UI
→ Tripo and Blender: every model
→ Opus 5.5: scripts, scene setup, cleanup and tests
→ You: play the game and decide what stays
The golden rule is to commit after every step that works. One bad prompt then costs you seconds, not an entire evening.
