I started recording my "Three.js Game Dev with AI" course this morning using Astra. Big mistake.
I'm not sure what happened to the model but it's incredibly slow (10-15 minutes for fairly simple feature requests) and the results I was getting the entire day were subpar at best, even with fairly detailed prompts.
For example, I was struggling to get Astra to properly implement hydraulic erosion for terrain generation.
Spent 2-3 hours banging my head and results were still not great.
Gave the problem to Opus and it did the whole feature correctly in 8 minutes.
I really wanted to make the course model agnostic, but I'm not going to suffer through a slow, crappy experience just to create a mediocre course where I have little confidence the student can reproduce similar results.
I'm only a day in, so I'm going to throw away what I have and start over with Opus tomorrow. I'll probably make it an Opus 5.5 specific course.
