Google and Unity just launched new AI-features to further facilitate game creation. Unity's efforts are interesting because they're putting extra emphasis that it will implement human-created art from the Unity asset store. It's a nice effort, but I doubt that that will assuage the AI-haters in the crowd.

I checked out the showcase library of games made on Google's new AI game platform and most of it seemed like Gemini Flash 3.8 slop. I'll be more interested to see how Gemini 4 performs, which should hopefully be soon.
